We will never be too old to playfully enjoy the shoreline, as the ocean stretches behind and around us. Here and Now is inspired by summer at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We cannot always be present and playful, and instead we can seize upon small moments. This is a painting of contrasts - the grounded steps of the figure against the vast expanse of water and sky, the energetic surf and calm mood.
